Accessibility at School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha)

Our school district has created an Accessibility Committee for the purpose of exploring accessibility needs across the system, with a goal of developing a long-term plan to address these concerns.

School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) has developed an accessibility plan that will help guide our work to identify, prevent and remove barriers to accessibility that people face within the school district.

An Accessibility Feedback form has been created to gather information from students, families and staff who either have a disability, or support an individual with a disability or diverse abilities. We hope to hear more about successes or barriers to accessibility that have been experienced in our district.

This feedback will allow us to better understand the needs of individuals who have a disability and the barriers that impact their ability to participate fully and equitably in the opportunities and environments in our schools.
