Administrative & Excluded Applications

School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) is now using Make a Future - Careers in BC Education (www.makeafuture.ca)  to post positions for external applicants for hard-to-fill positions. If there is no posting for a particular job on Make A Future, we are not accepting applications for that administrative position.  We recommend that prospective applicants stay current with our employment opportunities by subscribing to the email alerts feature on the Make A Future website.

The Okanagan Skaha School District Support positions include bus drivers, custodians, maintenance, education assistants, noon hour supervisors, library assistants and clerical staff.  All support positions are in accordance with CUPE (local 523) Collective Agreement.  Applications for Support Staff positions should include the Support Services Application Form and a resume with three professional references.  When applying for specific jobs posted on this website it is crucial that posting and position numbers are referenced on your application.  To be considered for support positions, please submit your employment package to:

We strongly encourage you to consider applying for substitute employment even if you desire permanent placement.  Substitutes have the unique opportunity to become better acquainted with our district at each school location and Principals and Supervisors get to know their skills and abilities on a first-hand basis.  Applications will be kept on file for 12 months and will be considered for any suitable openings during that time. 

Teaching Applications

The Okanagan Skaha School District posts external jobs on-line through Make a Future - Careers in BC Education (www.makeafuture.ca).  When we do not have external postings, we search our database for applicants who have selected School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) in the "My Portfolio" page.  We do not accept unsolicited applications at the District office.  Candidates for all teaching positions in Okanagan Skaha must have completed their Bachelor of Education degree and possess or be eligible for membership with the British Columbia College of Teachers.  You are strongly urged to consider applying for TTOC employment even if you desire permanent placement.  TTOC's have the unique opportunity to become better acquainted with our schools, and principals get to know their skills and attributes on a first-hand basis.  Applications will be kept on file for 12 months and will be considered for any suitable openings during that time. 

Please note that hard copied, emailed and faxed resumes will no longer be accepted, unless specified in an external posting.

    • Cover letter and resume
    • BC teaching certificate - please enter your certificate number on the qualification page in your portfolio.
    • Teacher Qualification Service card (BC)
    • B Ed degree and B Ed transcript (do NOT mail sealed transcripts to S.D. No. 67)
    • Undergraduate degree and transcript (do NOT mail sealed transcripts to S.D. No. 67)
    • Practicum Report
    • Reference letters (3 suggested) or the names and contact information of references that can speak directly to your teaching experience and abilities.  If you have recently graduated, please include references from Administrator(s) and Faculty Advisor(s).

Your application will not be considered complete unless you have answered the Job Posting related questions!  Log on to your application; under the Portfolio heading, go to Review Portfolio, and select SD 67.  This will show you the contents of your application; this is also what the employer sees.
